Common Conditions

We provide services and care for many foot conditions, but some we see more than others. Here are just a few of the most common problems we treat:

Ankle Sprains: a result of the foot unnaturally twisting, causing damage to the ligaments. If these tissue bands don’t heal well, complications can occur.

Athlete’s Foot: this fungal infection of the skin is often contracted from walking barefoot in public places like pools and locker rooms.

Bunions: this inflammation of the big toe joint causes a painful, protruding bump that can worsen with friction, irritation and pressure from shoes.

Corns and Calluses: these built-up layers of dead skin can be attributed to friction from ill-fitting shoes. Typically, corns form on toes, while calluses develop on the bottoms of your feet.

Diabetic Foot Problems: Because diabetes often results in a loss of feeling, as well as a reduction in blood flow, wounds can go unnoticed and take a long time to heal. This increases the risk of infection and serious complications.

Plantar Fasciitis: Heel Pain is commonly the result of this condition, when the band of tissues that run along the bottom of your foot become inflamed. These tissues connect your toes to your heel bone, and when under stress cause pain and discomfort.
